My Approach
I don't believe people are broken. I believe people make sense.
If I knew your entire story—your experiences, relationships, challenges, and everything you've had to do to navigate life—I believe your thoughts, emotions, habits, and the ways you've learned to cope would make sense too. Many of the patterns that leave us feeling stuck today once helped us adapt, protect ourselves, or simply get through difficult circumstances. The problem isn't that those patterns developed; it's that they often continue long after the circumstances that created them have changed.
To me, therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about understanding yourself with greater curiosity and compassion so you can begin responding to life more intentionally rather than automatically. As we make sense of your patterns together, you'll have the opportunity to decide which ones still serve you and which ones you'd like to change.
Because every person has a unique story, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches—including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based, somatic, and mindfulness-informed practices—to support the goals that matter most to you.
Insight is an important part of healing, but insight alone rarely creates lasting change. My goal is to help you not only understand yourself more deeply, but also integrate that understanding into your daily life. Together, we'll build greater awareness, emotional flexibility, and practical skills so you can move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned with your values.

What Therapy with Me is Like
Therapy looks a little different for everyone because no two people arrive with the same story, strengths, or goals. Some sessions may focus on understanding past experiences, while others center on navigating present challenges or developing practical skills for everyday life. Most often, we'll do both.
I tend to ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns, and help connect experiences that may not have seemed related before. I enjoy exploring the "why" behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also helping you translate that understanding into something useful in your everyday life.
My style is collaborative, conversational, and adaptable. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, curious, and challenged when needed, while still feeling supported and understood. We don't have to agree on everything or approach life in the same way. My role is to help you better understand yourself and discover what works for you.
I offer in-person therapy for clients in Northwest Arkansas from my office in Downtown Fayetteville, as well as virtual therapy for clients located in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Indiana. This allows us to find a format that works well for your needs and circumstances.
